Rakhine State
Chief Minister U Nyi Pu met with villagers in southern Maungtaw yesterday,
delivering aid to the villagers.
At the meeting,
the Chief Minister pledged to assist in restoring peace and stability the
district which saw instability due to armed attacks last year.
During his visit
to Inndin village, he asked the local people to cooperate with the authorities,
encouraging them that situation will return to normal soon. After that, U Nyi
Pu and officials went to Kyauk Pandu and Shwe Yin Aye villages and gave the aid
to the local people. The State chief minister and members met with
administrative officials at the Township General Administration Department in
MyinLut Township and discussed about regional peace and stability.
