President, First Lady visit U Tin Oo at Yangon General Hospital

President U Htin Kyaw and First Lady Daw Su Su Lwin visited NLD Patron U Tin Oo yesterday morning at Yangon General Hospital’s cardiac ward, where he was recovering from a recent stroke.

Improvement in U Tin Oo’s health situation was explained to the President and First Lady by hospital superintendent Dr. Aye Ko Ko and officials.

U Tin Oo is on a diet of light food and is now able to stand for about 15 minutes at a time. He will undergo rehabilitation to regain normal mobility and will be discharged from the hospital accordingly.

Afterwards, the President and First Lady encouraged other patients in the cardiac ward.
