State Counsellor and
Union Minister for Foreign Affairs Daw Aung San Suu Kyi received the President
of the United States Institute of Peace (USIP) Ms. Nancy Lindborg and party at
10:00 am at the Ministry of Foreign Affair in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
During the meeting,
they openly exchanged views on the peace process in Myanmar. Also present were
Mr. Derek Mitchell, Senior Advisor of Asia Center and former US Ambassador to
Myanmar, and Mr. Andrew Wilder, Vice President of Asia Center.
