Mobile shops for northern Rakhine launches

February 2, 2017
Mobile shops came as a pleasant surprise to villagers in northern Rakhine State, as they can buy food easily for perhaps the first time in their lives.

Maungtaw District Management Committee sent mobile shops selling foodstuff and clothing to northern areas of Rakhine State as part of its plans for assisting the people in areas which can be easily accessible by road.
The committee set Kyeingyaung, Ngakhuya, Khamaungseik, Tamanthar and Taungpyolatwae as the five destinations for the mobile shops. The mobile shops leave Maungtaw and go to Kyeingyaung on Monday, to Ngakhuya on Tuesday, Khamaungseik on Wednesday, Tamanthar on Thursday and Taungpyolatwae on Friday.
