One 18 HP motor boat of 30 ft in length and 10 ft in
width, with two men onboard, floating in the Thabyetaw Chaungwa in Maungtaw
township was seized at about 6:15 pm on Tuesday night, by the combined force of
government troops and police forces.
The two arrested were Innarotdular aged 28, son of
Inu Armat residing in the village of Nazi in Sittwe and Sheikku aged 18, son of
Saura Amein residing in the village of Kanyintan in Maungtaw.
According to their statement, Innarotdular emigrated
to Shwe Ma Phyu Chaung village at Teknaf town in Bangladesh 8 years ago and
Sheikku 3 years ago, so they are being investigated to take legal action
against them, it is learnt.
