Tatmadaw troops take over KIA battalion headquarters

Columns of Tatmadaw troops occupied three KIA strongholds including the headquarters of Battalion (3) of Brigade (5) yesterday morning. After taking over Gidon post, .768 Laiphoung camp and outposts nearby of the KIA during December 2016 and January 2017, Tatmadaw troops launched operations on three KIA posts including Ngakyan Camp, the headquarters of Battalion 3 of the KIA from 10 to 12 January before occupying them. 

Tatmadaw troops seized some bodies, four assorted weapons, 1500 rounds of ammunition, 600 catridges and 50 shells while some members of security forces sacrificed their lives for the country.
