Hluttaw representatives consisting of national races and their families came to
the President’s Palace in Nay Pyi Taw to pray for God’s blessing to the
President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Htin Kyaw, wife Daw Su Su
Lwin and family at 6:30pm on Monday as a pre-birthday celebration of Jesus
Christ. In the prayer ceremony, Pyihtaungsu Hluttaw representatives comprise
national races and their families greeted and offered a floral basket of
Christmsa presents and entertained with hymns.
Afterward,
Dr Daw Shwe Pon of Bago constituency read the Bible with U Sein Aung of Paletwa
constituency, giving blessings to President, wife and family. Then, the
representatives sang hymns and prayed for God’s blessing to the Republic of the
Union of Myanmar and the President. In return, the President gave Christmas
presents and posed for photos.
