Vice
President U Myint Swe, together with union ministers and departmental official
arrived in Khamti of Sagaing Region, on Sunday.
Vice President inspected the
Women’s Vocational Training School and the People’s Hospital. The Vice
President heard reports of the officials of the training school on training and
job opportunities. The Vice President said that people who live in rural and
border areas have fewer job opportunities than those who live in urban areas.
The development gap between rural and urban areas is also caused by a lack of
job opportunities. The government is making effort to provide education, health
and vocational education to all parts of the country, mainly in vocational
education for women in border areas. Regional governments are also needed to
conduct vocational training courses. The Vice President also viewed at the
school. >>>>Afterwards, the Vice president and party inspected the
People’s hospital and met with departmental officials where the Vice President
instructed to carry out systematically the prevention measure of recent
infectious measles outbreak. The Vice President also inspected medical storage
and the new extension of the 50 bedded patient wards of the hospital.
