School Health Programmes Boost Student Nutrition, Growth

The entire public, including health and education staff as well as students’ parents, should participate in the implementation of school health promotion programmes, said President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Min Aung Hlaing at the ceremony to mark the School Health Week (Central Level) movement for the 2026-27 academic year.

New Dokhtawady Bridge to feature Myanmar’s first EradiQuake bearings

 

THE new Dokhtawady Bridge, being constructed at Milepost 358/1 on the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway, will be fitted with earthquake-resistant EradiQuake bearings the approach bridge with high damping rubber bearings (HDRB) – the first installation of its kind in Myanmar – and is scheduled for completion before the end of 2026, according to the Ministry of Construction.
