THE Pyidaungsu Hluttaw enacted the Anti- Online Scam Law as Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Law No 3/2026 on 31 July 2026. The Law features 12 chapters on title, jurisdiction and definitions, objectives, formation of the Central Committee and its Functions and Powers, formation of regional committees and their functions and powers, formation of the Anti-Scam Centre and its Functions, prevention, information exchange, temporary suspension of financial flow and taking action, international cooperation, prohibitions, penalties, and miscellaneous.
