Union Women’s Affairs Minister meets UNFPA representative

 

Union Minister for Women’s Affairs Dr Thet Thet Zin held talks with UNFPA Resident Representative Mr Jaime Nadal Roig and his delegation at the ministry’s office.

They discussed cooperation between the ministry and UNFPA, including implementation of the joint work plan, establishing a help line at the ministry, and providing support services through One-Stop Women Support Centres (OSWSCs) for women affected by violence.

The meeting was attended by the director-general, relevant officials and UNFPA representatives.
