Vice
President U Myint Swe signed the book of condolences for Socialist Republic of
Viet Nam President, Politburo permanent member Mr. Tran Dai Quang at the
embassy of Viet Nam in Yangon yesterday.
President
Mr. Tran Dai Quang passed away at Hanoi hospital on 21 September due to a
serious illness. He was elected President in 2016 and was 61 when he passed
away.
In
honor of President Mr. Tran Dai Quang, Viet Nam embassy in Myanmar had
designated September 26 and 27 as mourning period, and a book of condolences
will be opened for those who wish to sign in it, it is learnt.
