Officials from MoTC, MoI, private media meet with Russian Deputy Minister

PERMANENT Secretary of the Ministry of Transport and Communications U Soe Thein, Director of Film Promotion Division, Information and Public Relations Department U Thein Naing and officials from private media organizations, Forever Group Co Ltd, Shwe Than Lwin Co Ltd, Mingalar Company Ltd and the Myanmar Times, met with Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Telecom and Mass Communications from the Russian Federation Mr Aleksey Volin and Russian Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Nikolay Listopadov at the meeting hall of Film Promotion Division, Information and Public Relations Department in Yangon yesterday.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral cooperation with cyber security, smart cities, investment in communications sector, shutdown of analogue TV system, issues related to film and television, new media, displaying film and transformation of digital TV system.
