Police donate blood at Sittway General Hospital

A collective blood donation ceremony of police personnel in Rakhine State was held yesterday morning at the meeting hall of Sittway General Hospital, Sittway in Rakhine State.

Rakhine State Minister for security and border affairs Colonel Phone Tint delivered an opening speech and Sittway General Hospital’s deputy superintendent Dr. Khin Maung Than expressed words of thanks.
State Minister for security and border affairs Colonel Phone Tint then gave presents and Vice Superintendent Dr. Khin Maung Than presented certificates of honour to the 115 police members who had donated blood.
Present at the ceremony were State Minister for security and border affairs Colonel Phone Tint, acting chief of state police force colonel Min Zaw Oo, police officials and officials from Sittway General Hospital. Food supplements and medicines were distributed to the police personnel who donated blood.
