UEC Chairman receives Chinese Ambassador

UNION Election Commission Chairman U Hla Thein received Ambassador of People’s Republic of China to Myanmar Mr Chen Hai at his office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

During the meeting, they cordially discussed matters related to arrangement for holding the 2020 General Elections in accordance with the five norms, conducting of the process of commission’s Strategic Plan (2019-2022), the compilation of nationwide voters lists, invitation of international organizations to observe the election, possible cooperation in holding the 2020 General Elections successfully.
