Youth Integrity Camp 2019, a collaboration between the Anti-Corruption
Commission (ACC) and the Ministry of Education (MoE) concluded yesterday
at Thingaha Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
At the ceremony, Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission U Aung Kyi
and secretary of the commission presented certificates recognizing the
integrity and completion certificates of the camp to the faculties and
students who participated in the camp.
The trainees presented eight ethics for youths.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Anders Frankenberg, Head of Development Cooperation Department of the Swedish Embassy, expressed his delight for participation of youth in fighting corruption, stressing the important role of youth in fighting the corruption in the country.
He also welcomed the establishment of Corruption Prevention Unit-CPU at the ministries.
In his remarks at the closing ceremony, Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission U Aung Kyi urged the youth to develop the culture of integrity among their generation while following their ethnics for integrity.
He also stressed the need for those who will take a leading role in fighting the corruption to have five qualifications: free from politics, free from bias, impartiality, honesty and expertise.
