The fifth day of a sale of gems and jades in local currency
continued at the Mani Yadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
On the fifth day of gem sale, 998 jade lots out of 1050 jade
lots were reported to be sold at K21671.979 million. Furthermore, merchants
examined the 1008 jade lots to be sold on 13 June at the emporium and bid price
proposals for their selected lots were put into the designated tender boxes.
During the emporium, a total of 49 gem lots were sold at
K362.099 million on 10 June and a total of 1038 jade lots at K18800.16 million
on 11 June.
The emporium aims to provide local small merchants with raw
materials and businesspersons with income.
