Union Minister Lt-Gen Ye Aung meets with Foreign Affairs Minister of China

At the invitation of the government of the People’s Republic of China, a delegation led by Union Minister for Border Affairs Lieutenant General Ye Aung travelled to China and met with Minister for Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China Mr. Wang Yi yesterday morning at the hall of Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Beijing.

At the meeting, they discussed the matters relating to peace and stability and socio-economic development of residents in border region, human resources development of the ethnic people in the border region, China’s cooperation in reconciliation works of Myanmar and the work of the Myanmar Government on Rakhine State’s development, long-term peace and stability.
