Transport, ICT Sector Coordination Group hold meeting to strengthen internal cooperation

A meeting on Transport and ICT Sector Coordination Group was held yesterday morning at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Transport and Communications.

Union Minister U Thant Sin Maung addressed the meeting.
At the meeting, Chairman of Coordination Group Union Minister U Thant Sin Maung said that Transport and ICT Sector Coordination Group was formed under the Development Assistance Coordination, Unit and which is one of the well-known 10 Sector Coordination Groups.
The coordination group was established in cooperation with development partnerships and officials from the relevant departments, with the aim of carrying out the tasks smoothly. Moreover coordination meetings were being conducted after the transport group and ICT groups were formed.
It was needed to carry out goals and visions of the Myanmar Sustainable Development Programme-MSDP to foster the sustainable development of the country. At the meeting, attendees discussed the results of the first coordination meeting, the approval of new members and on-going schemes.
