Indonesian naval cadets stage Drum Band performance in People’s Square

YANGON Region Chief Minister U Phyo Min Thien attended the Drum Band Performance of the naval team of Indonesia’s Bima Suci which arrived in Yangon on Saturday at the People’s Square in Yangon yesterday.

The Indonesian ship KRI Bima Suci-945 captained by Lieutenant Colonel Waluyo arrived at the Thilawa Port on Saturday as part of its friendship sailing mission to Myanmar. The Indonesian naval staff came to visit famous places in Yangon. With the aid of Yangon Region Government, they organized a Drum Band Performance at the foot of the Shwedagon Pagoda which is one of the wonders of the world.
Ambassador of Indonesia to Myanmar Prof Dr Uza Fadri expressed thanks to Yangon Region Government for the aid. Indonesian naval staff first gave salute to the Yangon Region Chief Minister, the Ambassador of Indonesia, Indonesian military attaché and captain of the Indonesian naval ship, and then performed their naval drill.
