Joint Committee on Myanmar-China Economic Corridor holds meeting

A CHINESE delegation led by Mr. Ning Jizhe, the Vice Chairman of China’s National Development and Reform Commission, will visit Myanmar to discuss the China-Myanmar Economic Corridor from 24 to 27 November.

The Joint China-Myanmar Economic Corridor Joint Committee held a meeting at the Ministry of Planning and Finance yesterday in preparation for the visit.

During the meeting, the joint committee’s members exchanged views on future processes and implementation of projects related to the China-Myanmar Economic Corridor.

The Chief Minister of Magway Region, joint committee members from the Nay Pyi Taw Council, regional ministers for planning and finance, deputy ministers from respective ministries, the Deputy Attorney-General, Deputy Governors from the Central Bank of Myanmar, permanent secretaries, deputy permanent secretaries, directors-general, and the Chairman of the Myanmar Development Organization attended the meeting.
