Two more villagers suspected of involvement in Buthitaung attack arrested

In the continuous effort at finding who were involved in the Buthitaung armed attack last year, the combined forces of Tatmadaw troops and border guard police arrested two more fugitives near the village of Badakar at about 10am yesterday.

The two arrested were Jamar Husin, son of Mamot Husaung and Rahat, son of Adu Suri, both of Kyehnotethee Village. It is learnt that they took part in the armed attack in Buthitaung armed attack and escaped.
The two will be handed over to the No. 3 border guard control police force in Buthitaung so that legal action can be taken against them, in accord with the law.
