President visits National Reconciliation and Peace Centre

President U Htin Kyaw visited the National Reconciliation and Peace Centre in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday, inspecting the preparations for conducting the Peace Process Orientation Course and for holding the Union Peace Conference-21st Century Panglong.

Upon arrival at the NRPC, the President was welcomed by Union ministers U Kyaw Tint Swe and Dr Pe Myint, Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council Dr Myo Aung, Deputy Ministers U Min Thu and U Khin Maung Tin.
At the meeting hall of the NRPC, Deputy Minister U Khin Maung Tin reported on the tasks of NRPC, arrangements for opening the Peace Process Orientation Course and holding the 21st Century Panglong.
Union Minister U Kyaw Tint Swe also reported on arrangements for holding the national-level political dialogues under the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement, arrangements for accommodations for trainers and trainees of the Peace Process Orientation Course and funds for the NRPC.
After hearing the reports, the President expressed his commitment to peace and his wish to achieve success in the peace making process as soon as possible.
He also pledged to make his utmost efforts for peace and thanked those who are participating in the peace-making process.
